Since its inception in 1987, Marathon has experienced steady, profitable growth, expanding from just 22 employees at the beginning to over 600 employees today. APPRENTICESHIP
Marathon's Apprenticeship School teaches industry standards and company techniques to employees. This ensures veteran and new employees share in the knowledge of processes, expectations and techniques to deliver a quality product to our customers. Marathon has been the recipient of many safety awards over the years such as the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Gold award for safety. We are recognized by the industry for maintaining incident rates that are significantly lower than industry standards.
Our History
In 1987 three men, Larry Argo, Bobby Bratton and Bill Proctor, set out with a vision to provide quality electrical contracting services at a fair price. That small venture has since become one of the Southeast’s largest electrical contractors.
